Hello! The last two weeks hadn’t been any good. Grind, run-down, light up, run down. Another slight rebound and a step back again. And so between 6k and 2k I maneuvered myself. Of course, at my own request, because when I look at many of your BRM rules, I cannot fit in any scale: D Anyway, finally I got a big up. Last Sunday finally brought some better result. Moving from $ 10-> $ 100-> $ 1500 was already a huge success and hassle. Of course, for this occasion, I reduced multitabling to 6 and put in full focus. When you play a half-roll tournament (because I had 3k $), you have somehow more motivation to give your best 🙂 And so from 3:30 pm until 6 am I did not open the browser, FB, Tinder, etc., distractions, which helped maintain good shape – especially in the morning. The level of the WSOP HR itself was not very high. Of course, many stars and good players participated, although usually at the table I had max 2-3 aggressive opponents. The rest played passively, slowly. We don’t squeeze AJ, we don’t valuebet TP on the river … this type of recreational game. And the fact that it was freezout also did its job. Also, I will definitely be pushing to the next events, because WSOP Online attracts a lot of attention from recreational players, which helps a lot to get a good result as long as the run is slightly favorable to you. And so, for example, when we have about 100 players left, I get JJ, I open CO and I get 15bb jam from BU with T9o. My jaw dropped, and of course gratitude, because having such late stage opportunities is worth its weight in gold. I also had a few fortunate spots like this and people at the tables that allowed me to exploit more with a little focus. I finished 13th, which is a moment before the big money, but nothing I can do. AQ vs KK and AQ on AK deprived me of a good stack and I had to say goodbye to FT. Overall, I am satisfied with the game and the entire Sunday session. You know, there is always something you can do better, but the bottom line is to analyze the game on a regular basis and want to do it better next time.

What's next

I guess after the last upswing I was on $ 24k in the roll and went down again to $ 2k which means BRM is still too agro. I thought throwing in more smaller tournaments would do the trick, but it turns out not quite so this time I’ll take a fix for it. Festival shots and stream scattering also didn’t help, and that also needs to be changed. Right now I’m sticking to $ 55s and cutting 10% of my winnings to reserves and a little celebration like I’ve always done.
Overall, with WCOP Online, I’ve started playing more and more at GG Poker and Partypoker. And so for the first time in history, I play 6-7 tables at GG, 3-4 at the party and 2-3 at the pokerstars. The recent tough times have forced me to look for edge wherever I can, and so I came to the conclusion that it’s time to give up my sentiment to Pokerstars. I understand solid soft, but paying someone twice as much for a service with such a loe rakeback doesn’t seem like a good deal. Because compared to Partypoker and GGpoker the rake in PSKO tournaments is on average 10% compared to 5% of the latter. We also have 8% rake on GGpoker in freezes and up to 5% on turbos on partypoker instead of the standard 10%. Add to that the fact that there are currently a large pool of players interested in the WSOP and WPT, the decision seems easy. Especially for regular players.
I also plan to come back with streaming (polish commentary), but only two Saturday every month. I’m not going to do this for cash, subs, etc, but to show you a piece of good mindset and play. I believe that people are needed, especially in the Polish backyard, who represent high standards, because the moral level in the industry, to put it mildly, is not the highest. Players from higher stakes admit to ghosting and say that everyone does – no problem. The titled ambassadors offend users, show a total lack of control over emotions and understanding of their role in the poker community. And then someone is surprised that poker does not have a very good reputation among people. How should it be if we allow ourselves such standards? Where I grew up, it was normal to beat someone, sell drags, make robbery or take heavy drugs. But it was a ghetto. We can make a similar crap out of poker because it is people who create the environment. In any case, I hope that with my streams I will be able to contribute to our poker world and make it a little better. Especially for young players who start their adventure with poker.
Cheers!
